We got up at 9:30am for a buffet breakfast that closed at 10am. It was different to our last with more customizable meals which is better but harder (especially first thing in the morning). We explored the hotel and pools (they closed at 7pm so we couldnt the night before), which are totally awsum.We went and bought supplies and Mannan suprised Eriko with 6 pink roses for Valentines day (He had bought the Christina Auguilera Australian tour [which they went to] a few days before aswell).
We then wanted to get the free shuttle to the beach but we were there at 11:15am but the next was at 1pm. Therefore, chanting Exercies is an opportunity not an inconvience we walked. We found it eventually and there were literally thousands of beach chairs. Not knowing if they were free or not, we walked along the beautiful scenic beach trying to find out what was the protocol. Eventually we bit the bullet and got 2 for 200baht ($8AU).
We lay on our chairs under an umbrella for a while before going for a swim in the sea. The water was really warm and there were heaps of people in it. After a while of swimming, we got out and lay on our beach chairs again. We ordered a coconut and a watermelon juice for about $3.20 altogether. The coconut didnt come with a spoon and the watermelon juice tasted funny. There were lots of local people going around selling things such as sunglasses, boardies, fruit, etc. They were wearing long sleeved shirts and long pants. HOT.
After about 4 hours at the beach we left and walked along the main road where we found a nice little cafe and had the best pizza ever! They also had free internet there (which is what we are using now).
As we were resting in our room, we discovered that Mannan was sun burnt all over his shoulders! So after applying another layer of sunscreen we headed to one of our 3 pools. On the way we found the Spa pool, which is just a freezing cold pool with air jets. We played games such as tiggy and what animal sound am i trying to make until 7pm where we were kicked out (closing time).
We headed back to our room where we ordered room service for the first time in our lives and watched movies all night.
