We got up and had a buffet breakfast overlooking the sea. The only difference with this buffet breakfast was that it had fried chicken. After breakfast, we got a long-tail boat to monkey island. When we arrived we saw a family of monkeys and they were sooooo cute! However, they ran away soon enough and that was the last we saw of monkeys on monkey island. We then decided to go snorkelling, so our boat driver drove us out from the shore and we jumped into the water with our super cool snorkelling gear on! There were SO MANY FISH EWWWW! After about half an hour of snorkelling, we decided to go back to go back to our resort. In the boat, our boat driver told us that there would be more monkeys at 2oclock as there would be less tourists and the monkeys would come out. We decided to come back to monkey island at 2 that day.We explored the area around the resort and found a part of the beach that was owned by our resort. It had barely any people on it and had crystal clear water plus a stunning view. On that beach, we met an English tourist who lives in Guantanamobay (sp?) in Mexico or something like that. He thought Mannan was English and Eriko was from Australia!
We went back to Monkey Bay via the same Long-tail boat and driver at 2pm however there werent any monkeys!!!! We did get to lie on the beautiful beach though for a free extra half-hour as our driver felt bad for not delivering the monkeys. While lying on the beautiful bay, a deadly (Mannan thinks so) jungle spider about the size of a 50c piece apeared on Mannans forearm!!! Not screaming he brushed it off with his peanut packet and it appeared on the back of his shirt. Screaming, Eriko hit it with her towel (her spirit totem) and made a leg fall off and stick to his shirt. The spider was never seen again and to this day we dont know where it is! No where is safe!
We got back to our resort at 4:30pm where we had a swim in the pool and an early dinner. After dinner we swam again where we found a frisbee and Mannan taught Eriko how to use it. Eriko reminisced about the first time she saw a frisbee where she said to herself, "Why would i get this piece of plastic in my show bag? Its so boring what do I do with it?"
We played a game where you had to hold the frisbee straight out and reach the start of a water jet and Eriko made the cutests sounds while strugling. We went to bed shortly after as there was no TV in our room to occupy us.
