Once again having a buffet breakfast (it will be harder adjusting to a normal breakfast back home) we went back to our room where we got ready to go to the beach. Before we did that we needed to fill in a backlog of diary entries and pick up our laundry. Taking 1 hour and 15 minutes to do we eventually updated the website. We then walked down the road to the beach and rented two beach chairs and bought a watermelon juice and a coconut (p.s. Eriko gets at least 1 watermelon shake a day and Mannan gets a coconut :)). We also rented a lye-lo (its a plastic thing you blow up and lie on) to use in the sea. After a coupla hours we caught a private taxi back to our hotel and got ready for FANTASEA.
We got picked up by a minibus and were dropped off at a place that looked like a theme park. It was a bit like the EKKA crossed with a cabaret show, themed with Thai culture (i.e. palaces, temples and elephants) Mannan won a monkey called Mankey at a dart throwing stall and gave it to Eriko.
We also had a buffet dinner which was absoultely MASSIVE and AWESOME! We then went to the show, which was unique. It comprised of animals, magicians and cultural dancing. Although quite confusing to follow the story line, the show was generally entertaining. (Cabarets for the win!). After the show we decided to go home as it was nearing midnight.
