Hello! We got up at 9:40 and headed down for breakfast. We then walked to a nearby tourist information booth (the same one in which we had previously booked tickets for the Simon Cabaret, Fantasea and Monkey School) and we booked a minibus to pick us up tomorrow and transfer us to the airport.Afterwards we bought ice-cream and water and more ice-cream and pokki sticks and oishi green tea with lemon and honey.
We then walked from our far away hotel to BANGLA ROAD! It took ages! Eriko bought two pairs of shoes. After all this exhausting exercise, we decided to get a one hour Thai massage each. It was brilliant.
We then had lunch for about $7 altogether. We ordered a coconut, a watermelon shake, a crab dish and a massive plate of noodles with chicken YUMMMMM.
After this, Eriko got a manicure and a pedicure whilst Mannan wandered off and entertained himself in an internet cafe. The manicure and pedicure together were less than $12. Eriko could not tip her lady as she did not have small change BOO. (p.s. Mannan gave a large tip of 50baht to his masseuse as he had a similar problem). We then walked to our old hotel (The Royal Paradise Hotel) and sneakily snuck in and used their bathroom! REBELSSSS.
Eriko then decided to get her hair curled (permed) while in Thailand and since this was our last full day, it seem as good as any. It was only $60! We were told it was going to take 2 hours so Mannan went next door and got a 2 hour oil massage that was totally awsum and only $20!!
Erikos hair is... welll.... now as Eriko describes it, "A frizzball." Eww!So thats not to good... We had dinner next at the PS Hotel. It was ok but Erikos shrimps tasted like poopies. Also to make matters worse, the markets where not on. We suspect that it had something to do with a significant day for Buddhists. So for our last day we only bought 2 pairs of shoes, 3 pairs of socks and 1 pair of sunnies.
We decided to try the Bar scene since it seemed so popular with the tourists and escorts. It was ok, we had our first Singapore Sling and was very enjoyable. Eriko would even go so far as to order one again, if she could. We went home via tuk-tuk.
