Diary for day
5
We got up and packed, checked out and stored our bags as we are leaving tonight. We had breakfast at a local restraunt, Eriko had pork+egg+rice+passion fruit drink and Mannan had Fresh Lemon Tea+Chicken+Noodles and it was all $3.60. We then had Chinise donuts from a side shop (dun dun dun!!!). It was very yum yum but very fatty. We walked for a bit then taxi-ed (metered and only cost $1.60) to Khao San Road. Its one of the big markets that you have to go to when you in Thailand, its fairly cheap here but lots of foreignors here which push up the price. We have bought a few (a lot) things. Interestingly the good/real gucci/lv/prada/dior are about $60-50 but are really really nice. We got some stuff for the trek to. I have 3 minutes left of internet time so we are on the trek and might not have access to the internet.
Dont freak
.
We went for another look at some shops and then decided to get a oil foot massage as we had 30 minutes to kill. We went for a foot massage as we werent confident/brave enough to have a full body just yet. It cost $5au! How cheap. We then got a taxi to the hotel and then met our tour group and then got a taxi to the train station. It was very busy and dirty but ok. We got 2 minute noodles for late lunch and bought some random-ass food for the train dinner. The train was wierd but better then what we were expecting. Each side had 2 chairs, which turned into a bed and then a bed over the top (bunk bed). Photos later will explain it better. We had a tranny hostess which was very disturbing but entertaining. We got dinner on the train even though it was dear ($6Au). Everyones tasted like poo but Mannan liked his cashew chicken. Mannan had some local beers which tasted like XXXX. We went to sleep at around 10pm.
